• About me

I’m the commerce and sustainability editor at ADWEEK. Most of my reporting focuses on how the advertising industry is responding to climate change. I’m also interested in how this industry is shaping culture — not only when it comes to sustainability and the environment, but also how it’s creating more or less accepting spaces on the internet and in the real world.

Originally from Minnesota, I’m based in Austin, Texas. When I’m not working, I’m usually walking my dog, riding my bike or out at a honkytonk dancing the Texas Two Step.

  • Writing

My work has appeared in ADWEEK, The Texas Tribune, The Austin-American Statesman, Sports Illustrated, The Daily Donut, Texas Health Journal and more.

  • Education

In 2018, I completed an M.A. in journalism and master of global policy studies at the University of Texas at Austin. I hold a B.A. in international studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
